• Device information (for app security)

For Professionals:

• Full name
• Mobile phone number and email address
• Trade category and years of experience
• Coverage area and service rate
• Payment reference (for Verified badge subscription)

We do not collect your home address, IC number, passport, or financial account details.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Phone number: to verify your identity and prevent fake accounts
• Professional profile data: to display your listing to Clients searching for your trade
• Payment reference: to confirm your Verified badge subscription — we do not store your card or bank details directly
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third-party advertisers

4. Who Can See Your Information

As a Client:
Your phone number is never publicly displayed. It is only used internally for verification.

As a Professional:
Your name, trade, coverage area, and phone number are visible to Clients searching for professionals on the platform. You consent to this visibility when you create a listing.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as required to provide our services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below.

6. Cookies & Analytics

The FixIt Malaysia app may use analytics tools to understand usage patterns (such as which categories are most searched). This data is aggregated and anonymised — it cannot identify you personally.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google) — for database, authentication, and app hosting. Their privacy policy applies to data processed by their infrastructure.
• Payment processors — for Verified badge payments. Your payment data is handled directly by the payment gateway, not stored by FixIt Malaysia.

8. Children's Privacy

FixIt Malaysia is not intended for persons under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Your Rights (PDPA Malaysia)
